Zach's Mission

Hey everybody! This week was good! We had transfers which has been good! I miss LaMarr but it has been good with Elder Fernandez, he is super nice and wants to work hard so it's been fun! The ward dynamic is also pretty good too, but very different with me being the only gringo now with 3 other latinos but it's been good for the spanish We had district council which was fun this week, and it was fun to get to know the new people in the district and go to lunch after Orlando got the priesthood so the plan is that we work with him and his other kids to get them baptised! We are pretty excited about that! Hopefully we have some success this transfer! That's kind of all for the week, I hope you guys are doing well!! Elder Bacon

Hey everyone! Well this week was pretty cool! Transfers are tomorrow and I'm staying here but I'm getting a new companion named Elder Fernández! He is from argentina and is pretty new in the mission but it should be pretty fun! I'm sad that Elder LaMarr is leaving but we had a great transfer that I'm super greatful for! Well Orlando and Yesenia got baptised this week!! It was pretty awesome we have been working with them all transfer so it was awesome to see them make the covenant! We were contacting the other day and saw this Joe Keery like curtain shrine thing which was kind of weird but we told the lady we liked it and she offered it to us so we bought it for $2.50 so that was super funny and awesome We had an Elders Quorum activity during the week which was also really fun so that was cool to be with them! Well not really much else happened during the week, it was pretty solid and I'm excited for the next transfer!! Hope you are all doing well!! Until next week!...

Hey everyone! Well kind of crazy but I have less than 6 months left on my mission. It feels a little bit surreal but it's been fun and hard and all of the above but I'm excited for the next couple of months that I have here in El Salvador! This week we had interviews with president and sister Breinholt, I got told basically nothing about what will happen to me next transfer so I guess I will just have to wait and see, but the interviews were good We also had multizona this week, and it was super fun to see all of the missionaries and friends, and learn some things as well. There was also a big earthquake again on thursday so I don't know why that keeps happening but hopefully it doesn't get worse😅 I learned how to make pupusas in a little more detail this week which was pretty fun, so watch out for a pupusa night in Normal Illinois coming soon We had a lot of our friends come to church this week, and we are really seeing some progression in a lot of them which is reall...

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully you had a great time and enjoyed some fun stuff For us we went to a members house and then came home and watched "The Other Side of Heaven" which is this movie about a missionary that goes to Tonga and I had seen it before but it was way better being a missionary now too. We stayed up and watched fireworks and it was pretty fun On actual New Years we went to this restaurant called San Martin it's pretty good, then the rest of the day we were kinda just dead We did intercambios in Versalles this week which was super fun, I went with Elder Alley and it was super cool to do an intercambio with him and learn some stuff!
