Zach's Mission

Hey everyone First off I just wanted to talk about what happened earlier this week. One of my friends Shrikar took his own life this week. It is super hard to process but I just want everyone to know that I am thinking about you guys at home and I hope you are all doing ok, and of course my actual prayers are going out to his family as well.  This week was pretty normal, we had an office meeting which was cool, and we tried a few extra restaurants as well. Honestly not too much happened but it was an OK week. We did try this place called Freakie Dogs, it's this restaurant and it made me super sick and I threw up for the first time in my mission, so I'm never going there again We had zone pday today which was fun, we got to have a big pickle ball tournament where the loser had their face painted, and we had corndogs it was pretty fun I hope you are all doing alright and I love you all, have a great week Elder Bacon

Hey guys!! First off to clarify some confusion, I didn't actually get transferred to Scranton, I was just moved to the mission office here in San Salvador! My new area is Merliot and I am still in the country, I was just making a "The Office" joke! The first few days here have been pretty fun! My first day I went with one of my new companions Elder Bromley around the mission to pick up all of the people who have transfers, then we went to the office and did some work, and it was pretty fun! We also welcomed all of the new missionaries in and went to the training meeting which was pretty cool. The new house that I am living in is a current 5 man house, and it is sooooo much fun! It has been awesome getting to know the other guys! We also had zone council, and we went to this corndog place after which was pretty fun. Hey everybody!! Well first things first, transfers are tomorrow and I am going to the office! I am going to be the new immigration secretary now! So that will for sure be a big change, and I'll be living in a 4 person house, buying everyone's plane tickets, helping people with transport, migration into the country, lots of stuff, and I'm also referrals secretary but I don't even know what that means really so it will be a big change but I will keep everyone updated on how it is! It should be fun and it will be really different for sure Happy late Mother's Day to everyone, but especially to my mom!!! Hey everyone!  There are 10 days left of this transfer and me and Elder Hendel are going to try and go to Burger King 10 times before transfers. It might be fun. We just need to use our coupons We had interviews with the president this week, I didn't get any news about what may happen to me so I guess I'll just have to wait and see👀 Me and Elder Hendel talked about Legos for a super long time one day this week, he just kept on unlocking all of my memories about stuff because he has like every set memorized and stuff it's nuts It was honestly a pretty uninteresting week, and the work was pretty hard and slow, but we have faith and we are going to try super hard to have success this week!!
