Monday, November 13, 2023 - WHERE HIS ANKLES AT THO🤯😵

Hey everybody!!

I really like Granola now. Mmmmmm. Just Granola with milk in a bowl. Qué yummy🤤

The dogs this week have been wildin. I'll be teaching a lesson or talking to someone and then dogs just start FIGHTING. Like fighting bad. And then a dog walks into the person's yard bleeding and stuff. We saw a dog get shaken up pretty bad, it was really sad actually. It got picked up in the mouth of another dog and shaken around, it was sad. He was bleeding and limped away, so I hope he is ok😭

We had multizona this week which was really fun! Good too see other missionaries and get a nice free lunch with cake. And learn some stuff too.

We went to McDonalds today, and guys, SO GOOD. Literally just so good. We went for District Pday and it was so fun. Good times. I heavily enjoyed. Double cheeseburger, McChicken, medium fry, oreo McFlurry. So good. Highlight of the mission.

As some of you know every friday we go to the church and ball out with our investigators. Well this week, we were in the middle of a game and Elder Sanderson (one of the missionaries who started the same day as me. He was in the same house as me in Mexico and is in my district now) was guarding this like young dad. Well Mr.Dad does a nice classic cross over and Sanderson could not handle the sauce. He stumbles, wobbles, and eventually falls over. It was SO FUNNY. Literally got crossed over and had his ankles broken. It was maybe the best moment of my entire mission. It was just so funny. And Elder Sanderson went and laid in the grass and just thought about his life and rolled around. It was too good. 

On a more spiritual note, this week at multizona we got a mission challenge to read the Book of Mormon in 40 days! I'm honestly really excited! It should be a good way to focus my studies and continue to learn more. So if anyone wants to join feel free😆

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Makes me glad I'm just learning spanish😅 We started doing only Spanish classes this week instead of a spiritual class in the m...

Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
