Monday, October 30, 2023 - HYPE HOUSE IN EL SALVADOR??🤯

HELLO EVERYONE

Hope that everyone is doing well and all, but we are gonna try and keep this a little shorter today...

I had a split this week where I went with another missionary for 24 hours, and it was SO FUN. I was in a house of 4 missionaries total, so dinner, lunch, and the night time was so much fun just hanging out and talking. I also loved playing basketball in the morning for exercise, just a super super fun day overall. Probably one of the best of the whole mission. Poor Elder Risenmay had to leave and I took his place for the day, which is why it was the new hype house. He took an L while I took a W😆

I saw a tree with a ton of chickens in it, am I the only one who didn't know that chickens like went in trees?🧐

I also saw this dude standing up on the back of a semi truck in like the bed of it, and that was pretty funny. So risky like 1 wrong bump and he's gone, it was literally on the highway, but it was quite a sight to see.

Also we helped with a service project where we were helping someone extend their roof, and it was a lil different than how that event would go in the US. Lots of random welding and stuff, but it was pretty fun and a nice change from the regular schedule. 

That's kind of all for the week, pretty short, but I love you all and so does our Father in Heaven!!! Send me updates and stuff!!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
