Wednesday, April 3, 2024 - "Study mayan math man cause crap is about to get real look up"😲

Hey guys!!

Transfer news!! I am staying here in this area for another transfer, but I am getting a new companion Elder Hendel! He has actually been in this zone for 2 transfers already with me so I know him but I'm excited and we should have a lot of fun together!! He is from Detroit where I was born so it should be a good time! Also they are combining the 2 areas here, so my area is the same but it's now double in size which is kind of crazy but it will be a nice change of pace!

I randomly has like a 101.1 fever for 3 days at the beginning of last week, not quite sure why but it wasn't fun. Just popped some ibuprofen and kept movin🫨

This random dude on a bus had a BYU shirt, GO COUGS🤙

My sister Ava turned 17 this week, major major shoutout to the goat🐐

We watched a fantastic basketball game in the park this week. There was this like 50 year old lady with rec specs and everything and she was lowkey a bucket, and then this other dude who was just so much taller than everyone else. He would just sit in the paint and wait for the ball, and his right hand layup was just so unstoppable. It was so funny, he just sat in the paint, waited for the ball and hit his lay. No one could guard this man. If he missed, board, put it back up. It was crazy. It was like watching the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe but in El Salvador in a park and about 540% worse, it was so epic🏀

Met this Canadian journalist this week at McDonald's, and he said "I follow a lot of Mormons on twitter" and also "good luck with your...conversions". It was pretty funny

Another guy from the States said that he has been studying Mayan ruins for like 24 years in central america, and that is where the title of the email is from, so yeah guys get ready apparently👀

Also happy late Easter to everyone!! What a blessing that our Savior died, and then was Resurrected!!! He truly lives!!! Also this week we have the opportunity to listen to the general authorities, apostles, and PROPHET of the Lord!!! What an amazing opportunity we have that each of you should take advantage of!!! Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
