Monday, April 29, 2024 - Didn't Sign up for This🐈💩

Hey everybody!!

Kind of a full week so let's get into it👉

-I had exchanges with the zone leaders and I went to La Cima with Elder Smith! He is really cool and it was a lot of fun. We found this guy who had a ton of Nazi stuff from Germany like Hitler stamps and stuff which was a little disturbing but he was just selling it, he also collects money from other countries. Their house also has air conditioning in the one room so I felt like I was sleeping in a hotel it was awesome
-so we did a service project this week. There is a lady here (the fishtank lady from last week for the avid readers) and she wanted help cleaning her house. We were like sure yeah we can get the district to come and help, but little did we know it was a house that had lots of poop and water so much of the cleaning of the house was sweeping cat poop water, it was so special. As you can imagine the Hermanas were not too happy with me for nominating everyone to help😅
-we had multizona this week! This is where half of the mission gets together to learn from the mission president and it's a lot of fun! I got to see a lot of friends in the mission and me and some other missionaries sang too so it was fun
-Jorge got baptised!! He is a man with special needs, and is so so nice. He loves coming to church with his sister so it was super super fun to help him learn everything and baptize him! He was so happy and kept giving us hugs it's was pretty cool
-we had a super weird sacrament meeting on Sunday, lets just say it was an hour and 40 minutes and a TV got pulled out and a lady decided she had to stand up and start talking in front of everyone as a surprise it was just a lot. I don't even know how to describe it but for all of the people who go to different churches just know it was not what it was supposed to be😅 but our investigators that we brought with us actually loved it so🤷
-we accidentally found an inactive member yesterday! We were looking for an investigador that the old elders were teaching and we found them sitting outside! It was pretty cool because she hasn't been to church in like 20 years and she said she loves the church and just got offended before, so it was a cool experience to talk to her and she said she had been waiting for missionaries to pass by so she could stop us! We are going to go back and visit her soon!!

Overall it was a pretty good week! I enjoyed it and I'm hoping for another good week coming up. The mission is starting to go by faster, it's a little weird because I'm getting to the point were I have been here for a super long time, but still have a looooong way to go. But I am starting to feel a sense of urgency in the changes I want to make to myself and it has been really motivating and good. A missionary going home this transfer said something cool yesterday, she said we should treat every day in the mission like it's our last day here. I totally agree, we should give it our all like it's all we have every day, and always be trying our best. Love you all and talk next week!!
