Monday, April 8, 2024 - Olive Garden but BETTER?👩‍🍳

Hey everybody!!!

General Conference was this week!!! It was so awesome to hear the words of the prophet and apostles, and man did I learn so so much!!! You should all go and give it a read/watch!!! You can find it on our church website!!!

This few days with Elder Hendel has been great!! We have a lot of really really fun talks that are super fun and complex. We talked about cereal for like 30 minutes one day and have been talking about movies a ton because he wants to be a film critic. It's super fun!

Most of the weekend was taken up by conference, but it was really awesome. One thing that really stood out from my was an idea from Elder Gong. We are all going to have trials. Trials that we would NEVER choose for ourselves. But, those trails can bless us and others in ways that we would never have thought possible. Super cool. Also when we have trials we should stop thinking "why" and start thinking "what?" What can I learn? What can I do to make use of this trial? It was just awesome

This lady on Sunday made us a lasagne and I didn't realize that she was literally a chef, I'm not just saying that she is a literal chef and that food was so good I thought I was going to die🤤

I got some special guest stars on some of my calls today because my sister and parents were with people, shoutout Sanchez fam and Mavros kids!!!

It was a really nice couple days and I'm really looking forward to this next couple of weeks!!! Send me an update!! Love you all!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
