Monday, July 29, 2024 - 1 Year📆
Hey guys!
This week was pretty fast and it's crazy to think that this transfer is almost over. I'll get into the week!
Last Monday we went to dinner with this guy who got baptised about a year ago and he works at a call center and speaks English but also loves all kinds of US shows and music so it was pretty funny to talk to him about all kinds of stuff
We had another migration appointment this week, which means only 1 more left so we are all good almost for the transfer
I did an intercambios with Elder Schumann today, which was kind of funny because we do intercambios anyway all the time being in the office together but it was still fun to spend the day talking and contacting
I really can't remember much about the week, but I do want to talk a little bit about this year that I've had as a missionary. I would say that this was the hardest year of my life, but it has also been the year where I have grown the most. I have been stretched quite a bit in a lot of ways, with lots of responsibility, a diligent schedule, learning Spanish, and overall just living in El Salvador away from family and friends. But, I have learned a lot about myself, faith, and doing hard things. It has definitely not been smooth sailing the whole time but I also am so greatful for the time I have had here in El Salvador so far, and I'm excited for the time that I have left as well. I love you all, and if you haven't messaged me yet or it's been a while, now is a great time to send me an email. Thanks for reading,
Elder Bacon
