Monday, May 5, 2025 - Free Bus💸

Hey everybody!

This week was pretty good! I hope you are all doing well wrapping up school or whatever other things you guys have!

Something cool right now is that this gigantic street got closed off by a landslide, which isn't really that cool but for us it doesn't have any effect, but they are making all of the busses free for like a week. So we all get free busses which is awesome!

I had this dream where Thanos was my mission president, that was super weird

I had an intercambio with Elder Witt this week, he is a funny guy it was a good time!

This random guy played his acordian for us and sang it was pretty awesome

It's mango season right now, so we have been eating a looooooot of mangos it's been super good!🥭

Today we went and played soccer at this little court for our district pday and it was a ton of fun!

One thing that I learned this week was the importance of personal study. Sometimes I feel like there are a lot of things that I need to get done during the day and that I don't have time for a good personal study, but I can tell such a difference when I do my studies and I don't. It seriously makes a difference in the day! It was just a cool thing that I noticed, that we can never not have time for the Lord! And when we make our time, the other things go better

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Makes me glad I'm just learning spanish😅 We started doing only Spanish classes this week instead of a spiritual class in the m...

Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
