Wednesday, January 10, 2024 - I'm Pregnant. (emotional)

Hey guys.

It's true, I am indeed going to train a new missionary this transfer!! In missionary terms when you train a new missionary, that missionary is your "kid", so I will be a "dad" it's pretty funny. Kind of wild!! I will meet him on Friday and I really hope he is a latino!! If not it will be spanish struggle time out here. It is sad because it means sayiing bye to Elder Lorenzo, he was a great comp. Quick hits for ya:

-interviews this week with president, they were pretty fun and good!
-had exchanges with 2 elders and it was soooooo fun it was honestly fantastic
Oscar got baptised!! It was so cool! He is so spiritually sound and just great! He was so so happy and says he feels so different now, super cool
-felt my first earthquake for like 3 seconds, kinda cool
-ate at this fire Mexican restaurant with the other Elders here as a goodbye to Hernandez who is going to Belize rip
-we were in a pupusaría teaching a guy from the states when 3 people from the Netherlands walked in. It was weird...

It was honesty a pretty hard week at times with not a lot of success, but it was so good because of Oscar's baptism. So fun to help him and be a part of that change in his life! Next time I email I will be a "dad" in the mission and we will see how that goes! Love you guys!!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas and that you'll enjoy New Years!  Christmas Eve and Christmas were pretty fun! We got to stay out late and ate a lot of food and also sang lots of Christmas Carols so it was pretty fun honestly! We went to a kind of far away part of our area the other day and we got to play soccer with these kids which was pretty fun. We also saw these like 5 random super little puppies which was pretty cute We had a musical number in sacrament where all of the missionaries sang and a family and Investigator of the church played instruments! It was really fun Yesterday it was raining so hard, the streets just completely flooded and we got soaked but our shoes were actually just filled with water it was a little bit uncomfortable hahaha but it was pretty funny I hope everyone has a good New Years!! Friday, September 1, 2023 - Mason Ramsey in Mexico City💯👀 (EMOTIONAL)

Hey peeps, Things here are starting to get a little more repetitive, but it's ok because my next email that will be sent will be from EL SALVADOR!!! I have about 5 days here left and then I'm off to the actual mission field!! I'm nervous but so so so excited to get going! To close out the Hunger Games at the CCM, we had determined that whoever in our district got picked to speak in church this past week would become Peeta, but sadly no one from our district got picked🤧 or so we THOUGHT. SURPRISE SECOND ROUND REAPING ELDER HALL IS OUR PEETA🦅 There are some Elders here who are going to serve in this rural place in Guatemala and they have to learn this language called xiatchi or something? I don't even know how to spell it, but one of the three bore their testimony in the language and the other said a closing prayer!! Super super cool stuff! Monday, February 3, 2025 - Return of the King

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well! This week was pretty solid, I'll get into it We had our english class as usual which was pretty fun on Wednesday I went to Santa Tecla for this mission leadership meeting (that I usually don't go to) so that was really fun to go and be back in Merliot and stay the night at my old house where I lived for 7 months, especially because all of my old housemates are still there so that was pretty cool. I also got to see a lot of mission friends which is always fun Other than that we got stranded in Versalles for a sec which was a little stressful, we resorted to hitchhiking because there was no bus but that is what happens I guess. We did eventually get home though A guy that me and Elder LaMarr talked to in the street got baptised yesterday which was super cool! He lives in another area but it was still cool to see that!
